It’s about your lyrium regimen. I’m speaking to all the templars about it. I understand if this is personal, but as Head Healer, I was hoping you could tell me what sort of dosage and frequency you’re on. For your own safety, I want to ensure that we’d be able to maintain even if there’s a shortage, or if you’re incapacitated and unable to administer it yourself for whatever reason. The last thing we need is for our templars to be knocked out of commission because no one else knew to look after their lyrium needs.
( And frankly he thinks it’s ridiculous that this is a religious thing and not a healthcare thing, but let’s not get into that can of worms just now— )

Hmm. Nothing that can cure it fully, unfortunately, but there’s a few things that can help, if you haven’t been doing them already. Turmeric and fish oil, for the inflammation. Painkillers in general. Physical therapy and exercises for joint flexibility.
Sorry to say. It’s astonishingly bad for you; like makes literally everything worse, in unexpected ways, everywhere. Quitting’s probably one of the single best things you could do for your health.
But if it makes you feel any better, plenty of doctors are hypocrites and smoke anyway, so, I can’t force you. And to tell the truth, I’m more preoccupied with the part about managing the lyrium.
