A few of the other cats have taken up residence on the opposing bed, where they sit with their feet and tails tucked neatly under them, keeping stiff and steady watch as though their gaze can pierce through the screen. One of them chirps a greeting as Barrow enters, but his attention is on the rather larger presence, who elicits a deep and bone-weary sigh.
"HELLO, LAZAR," he booms, tossing his bag to the floor with an unceremonious clatter, "MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE."
